This weeks Challenge theme is:
"Washi Tape"
Washi Tape...aka Decorative tape are a super popular trend right now. They are not only available in all types of colors & patterns...but are even available in digital form. This week we challenge you to use some type of decorative tape on your projects.
For my card I played with some orange paper tape that I found in the $ bin over at Jo Ann's. You actually get two lil' rolls for a buck...a solid & a pattern. I took the solid colored tape and created the border on the left hand side of the card and along the bottom of the focal panel. I also used another product that is super popular...wood veneer. I found a package of Butterfly shapes at Michaels. Both of these products are super fun to work with and I see myself adding more to my stash.
Supplies:
Paper: Neenah Classic Crest Solar White CS, Crumb Cake CS (SU!), Follow Your Heart - Be Amazing 6x6 Pad (My Minds Eye); Stamps: Tiny Tags (Papertrey); Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; Tools: Classic Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Simply Scallops Medium Die (Die-Namics), Tiny Tags Die (Papertrey); Other: Orange Paper Tape (Studio112), Wood Veneer Butterfly (Recollections), Satin Ribbon, Twine, Pearls, Foam Tape
