The Pink Elephant Challenge #35


Orange, Black, Purple & White

Happy Monday Everyone!! It's time for another fun challenge over at The Pink Elephant!!

This week is a color challenge to use Orange, Black, Purple & White. These colors made me immediately think of Halloween. I played with a couple $ stamps that I found at JoAnn's. I stamped the Frankie image and then masked him so I could stamp the webs all around him. I used SU's Going Gray for the webs. The image is colored with copics. Not super happy with the photo as it looks washed out but after twenty or so tries I gave up and this was the best that I could get.

Tools: Scalloped Edge Border Punch (SU), Small Classic Rectangle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Large Scalloped Rectangle Nestabilities (Spellbinders)
Embellishments: Satin Ribbon, Brads, Clear Glaze Pen (Sakura), Foam Tape

    Actual rubber in the dollar bin?!? And look at how adorable this monster is Sher! I love the color challenge this week, very fun and seasonal, your layout is so cute for him! His expression is classic, all the webs around him are perfect. Masking and actual rubber - wow - you do it all, don't you? heehee!

    Frankie looks great on this card. I like the way you've masked him to get the all round spider webby look.
    I think the photo looks fine, although I know what you mean - I too get days where no matter how many different angles, lighting effects I try I just can't get a picture that does the project justice!
