Sweet Sketch Wednesday #12

Happy Wednesday!! It is time for another fabulous sketch by Arlana over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. This week we not only have a sketch but there is also an added color challenge.

(Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Real Red, & Only Orange)

I will have to admit I was a little taken back with the color portion of the challenge this week as these are colors that I don't normally use or put together. I started by grabbing a sheet of all the colors and then went to my stash of DSP and found a 6x6 sample pad that I have been hording so I broke it out. The stamp is a $ Studio G that I found a couple weeks ago at JoAnn's. The image is colored with copics, paper pierced, and layered. I added clear glaze to the flowers on the birdie's wing .

We hope that you will be inspired and join us this week!! Please make sure to stop by Sweet Sketch Wednesday and check out the other fabulous cards that my fellow design team members have created this week, HERE. Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!! :D

  1. Ohhh I love color challenges! It's always amazing to see what the DT has come up with and of course I love love love your card Sher! The orange just caught my eye immediately. Holy smokes, I need your nestie layer recipe - my nesties don't emboss nearly as deep as yours! This image is sooo tweet! Hey, I will be emailing something to you by this week. It's a surprise that I came up with (I couldn't sleep!) while anxiously awaiting word on Brown's situation. Until soon!
