Sweet Sketch Wednesday

(Green, Dark Pink, Light Pink, Orange)

Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday Everyone!!! For Week #7 Arlana not only has a fabulous sketch for us to work with but an added color challenge. For my creation this week I pulled out some old & new goodies. I choose some DP that was in The Spring Matstack by DCWV that had all the required colors. I then used some Retired SU Colors (Marigold Morning & Rose Romance ) that I have been hording and matched perfectly. Some of the new toys I played with is the NEW Sizzix Dots Embossing folder. It's dots are larger then the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Folder. I also used my Martha Stewart Ice Cream Cone punch that I HAD to HAVE but never used. The cones are embossed with my new Quickutz Stripes Label Embossing Folder and chalked in brown and the scoops of Ice Cream have been glittered for some added dimension. This was a real fun card to make.

Please make sure to stop by Sweet Sketch Wednesday to see the other wonderful creations by my fellow DT, HERE. We hope that you will join all the fun and can't wait to see what you create! Make sure to link your creations to MR. Linky, HERE. Thanks for stopping in and have a very Sweet Wednesday!!! :D

  2. Wow Sheri - first of all it's not surprising that the comment I just read was to ask you to be a Designer. Congratulations on that whether you accept the offer or not!!

The card is simply fabulous!! I love the colors you used, they really pop and the little ice cream cones are little with a big statement. Very nicely done. OK off to craft, well no, off to make coffee and then craft.

  12. All the details of your SSW card are just great! At first I thought the ice cream cones were a stamp. But what a cute punch that is and I love how you added the textures with your embossing folders.
