The card team is super excited to share with you the projects that we have been creating with this months release! I have two cards to share with you!!
My first card features the NEW Christmas Text Background stamp. This is only a 3.75 x 3.75 stamp and I wanted to create a full card panel so to make it easy I stamped it twice and I cut them down to the size I needed and pieced them to a piece of gold paper I created by embossing the edges with the same gold embossing powder I used for the background stamp. To hide the seam I added a strip of card stock to hide it. Before I attached the two background panels I did a little ink blending with red & brown ink to add a little texture to the embossed text.
The poinsettia image is from the Christmas Poinsettia stamp set. I stamped and embossed it with the same gold embossing powder to a piece of metallic gold card stock. I then fussy cut it out and popped it up with foam squares. As a final touch I added an embossed sentiment from the Christmas Wordfetti stamp set.
