The Color Hues Challenge #117 | Grateful For You

It's time for us to share the next Hues of Color over at the Color Hues Challenge Blog! The colors that have been chosen for you to create with are Orange and Green for the next two weeks! We can't wait to see how you are inspired!

My card features the Labyrinth Dahlia Layering Stencil along with a sentiment from the Elegant Thoughts mini stamp set by Gina K. Designs.

Card Measurements:

Kraft A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2")

Sweet Mango Panel: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" - Master Layout #1

White Stitched Panel: 3 3/4" x 5" - Master Layout 14

Steps to Create Card:

Create Kraft A2 Top Fold Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2").
Die Cut Sweet Mango Panel measuring: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" using Master Layout #1.
Cut Layering Weight White Panel measuring: 6" x 6" and use Labyrinth Dahlia Layering Stencil with Sweet Mango, Tomato Soup, Jelly Been Green and Fresh Asparagus ink. Trim panel to measure 3 3/4" x 5" using Master Layout #14.
Stamp "Grateful For You" sentiment using Elegant Thoughts mini stamp set with Black ink. I highly recommend using a stamp positioner since you are stamping directly onto your stenciled panel.
Assemble card.
Embellish with Orange Pearls.

I'm excited to be joining Gina K. Designs for the August 2025 Release! I have a a card that I created to share during tonight's LIVE Release Party over on the Gina K. Designs Facebook Page, YouTube Channel, and Twitch.

Make sure to select your FREE Incentive Set with your $75 purchase from the pop-up window in order to receive it. You may need to make sure your pop-up blocker is turned off. There are coordinating dies are available for purchase for both of the incentive stamp sets.

I created a FUN Pop-Up Easel card featuring the NEW Daisies Bloom stamp set illustrated by Lisa Hetrick. There is also a coordinating die set and coloring Stencil available.

Card Measurements:

Kraft Easel Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

White Stamped Panel: 4" x 4 3/8"

Kraft Strip: 1 1/2" x 11"

White Stamped Strip: 1 5/16" x 5 7/16"

White Stamped Strip (front): 4" x 7/8"

Kraft Scallop Circle:3 3/8" - ML #8

White Stitched Circle: 2 7/8" - ML #8

Kraft Banner: 3 1/4" x 5/8" - ML#2

White Sentiment Die Cut: 2 5/16" x 7/16"

To Create Pop Up Card Base:

Cut Kraft Card Base: 4 1/4" x 11", score at 1", 2" and 6 1/2".
Cut White Layering Weigh Panel measuring: 4" x 4 3/8". Stamp with Kraft ink to create a custom background panel. Attach to card base.
Cut Kraft Strip measuring: 1 1/2" x 11". Score at 5 1/2".
Cut White Strip measuring: 1 5/16" x 5 7/16". Stamp with Kraft ink to create a custom panel. Attach panel to front side of Kraft strip.
Cut White Strip for front measuring: 4" x 7/8". Stamp with Kraft ink to create a custom panel. Attach to bottom panel of card base.
Assemble by attaching the the Strip to the front and back by adding adhesive to only the very bottom.
Add Scallop Circle and decorate.
Add Sentiment.

White Stitched Square Panel: 2 3/8" x 2 3/8" - Master Layout #3

My next two cards feature the NEW Iris Gaze Background stamp illustrated by Arjita Singh. This is a beautiful background and can be used in may ways.
