Color Hues Color Challenge #84 | You Brighten My Day

It's time for us to share the next Hues of Color over at the Color Hues Challenge Blog! The colors that have been chosen for you to create with are Peach and Green for the next two weeks! We can't wait to see how you are inspired!
 
Here's my take...
 
I pulled out Simon Hurley's NEW Tulip Trio (S6-234) from his Tulip Garden Collection from Spellbinders to create some beautiful Tulips. I paired them with the Fan Motif Embossing Folder (EOM-NOV22) and a sentiment from the Always and Forever Sentiment Strips Press Plate & Die (BP-025) that I foiled in Gold Foil. I highly recommend this sentiment set as I keep a bowl full on my desktop to grab from to add to my cards.

Card Measurements:
White A2 Top Fold Card Base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored by 5 1/2")
Peach Sorbet Embossed A2 Panel: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Vellum Arch Panel:
Fan Motif Embossing Folder (EOM-NOV22)
White Arch Panel: 2 3/4" x 4"
Sentiment Strip: 2 15/16" x 1/4"
 
Steps to Create Card:
  • Create White A2 Top Fold Card Base measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (4 1/4" x 11", scored by 5 1/2").
  • Cut Peach Sorbet A2 Card Panel measuring: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Emboss panel with Fan Motif Embossing Folder (EOM-NOV22).
  • Die Cut Vellum Arch Panel measuring: Fan Motif Embossing Folder (EOM-NOV22) using Essential Arches (S5-526)
  • Die Cut White Arch Panel measuring: 2 3/4" x 4" using Essential Arches (S5-526) 
  • Die Cut Tulip Trio (S6-234) using Peach Sorbet and Rainforest card stock. Add ink highlights using Peach Bellini on the flowers and Tranquil Teal on the leaves. Assemble Tulip blooms. Foam tape is optional.
  • Foil sentiment from Always and Forever Sentiment Strips Press Plate & Die (BP-025) using Gold Foil (GLF-014).
  • Assemble card.
  • Embellish with Angel Aura Rhinestones.
