No Layer Challenge!

Hello All~hope you are having a fabulous weekend!!! This week Marie at The Greeting Farm is hosting a No Layers Challenge. OMG~I LOVE layers and it was so HARD for me to stamp directly onto the card. I picked TGF's adorable new Snuggle stamp that was released earlier this month and paired it with a Papertrey sentiment from the Mega Mixed Messages set. First I stamped the image and then placed the largest rectangle out of the Small Classic set and ran it through my Big Shot to create a faux embossed box around the image. I then colored it in with my all time favorite medium...COPICS. (A girl can NEVER have too many...I am slowly working on getting the entire set and am a little more than half way there...) Then I embellished with a small flower $ punch from Michaels with tiny black pearl centers, added some black pen work around the image to make it pop, and rounder the corners for a softer look. Thanks for stopping by and taking a peak!

Recipe:

Paper: Classic Crest: Solar White CS

Stamps: HG Snuggle (The Greeting Farm), Mega Mixed Messages (Papertrey)

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black

Copics: E00, R00, E95, E40, E43, Y00, Y11, R30, R81, RV11

Tools: Small Classic Rectangle Nestabilities, Small Flower Punch (Michaels $), Small Corner Rounder

Embellishments: Martha Stewart 0.5 Pen, White Gel Pen, Blossom Spica Glitter Pen, Pink Satin Ribbon, Black Pearls

Happy Stamping!
